Last week Zen's MD Johnny Yip and Head of Training Simon Stainton attended the Fellowship's Project Extend team’s photoshoot with multi-award winning hairdressing partnership Gary Hooker & Michael Young.
The event took place at the beautiful surroundings of Nashwhite in Warwick, and as brand partners, Johnny & Simon were invited along fellow brand partner Emir Inanch from INANCH to watch the Project Extend team prep their 5 models and then observe the experienced photoshoot direction of Gary & Michael.
As one of the highlights of the year, the team had spent weeks preparing for the shoot under the careful guidance of their Project Leader, Michelle Griffin.
Project Team member Jamie Hadleigh said: “It’s been a long time since I have done a shoot and it was amazing to have my love for shoots fufilled and also learn how to make a wig come to life. Gary and Michael were just amazing, it was incredible to work with true idols of mine. Gary worked with me closely and showed me how to work the wig I had made to look how I wanted it. It came to life in the photos. It was amazing to work with such a great team on the best photoshoot yet!”
Fellow Project Team Member Marlene Lamont comments: “The Project Extend Photoshoot really was an incredible day full of inspiration and creativity. Our leader Michelle was absolutely AMAZING, continually helping with inspiration and support. Hooker and Young were INCREDIBLE and made the shoot great fun and super professional. Special Thanks to Loxbox for my fantastic extensions and to John and Simon from Zen Hair Extensions & the Amazing Inanch who came along supporting us with their fabulous products and I want to thank them personally so much for all their help and advice on the day they were brilliant. Models were outstanding as was social media, styling and makeup & PR.
